SAGE, the all women’s jazz, blues and contemporary ensemble, has dared to rise to this historic place in music with a sound that transcends time and generation. Part contemporary, part sassy, part nostalgic, these ladies deliver what every music audience is looking for, the best in the art.

SAGE features Charisa The Violin Diva on violin/vocals, Taylor Moore on drums, Yayoi Ikawa on keyboard, Mimi Jones on bass and Sweet Lee Odom on soprano and alto saxophone. The group has also featured many other talented musicians, namely Lakecia Benjamin, Tia Fuller, Ragan Whiteside, Mala Waldron, Bernice Brooks, Camille Thurman, Kim Clarke, Miki Hayama, Endea Owens, Chelsea Baratz and Kersten Stevens.

SAGE has headlined at major Inaugural Balls honoring President Obama, Major League Baseball All Stars Games & World Classic in San Diego, JAZZMOBILE, The Waldorf Astoria, The Schomburg Center, The African Burial Ground, the Martha’s Vineyard Jazz and Blues Summerfest and more.

Sammulous is a seven-time first-place winner at the prestigious Apollo Theater, where his exceptional talent in singing, songwriting, and acting shines. Renowned for his versatile five-octave range and expertise across diverse musical genres, including jazz, pop, rock, Motown, and more, Sammulous has earned acclaim from industry luminaries. His versatility extends to production shows, live bands, corporate events, and solo cabarets, captivating audiences globally.

Collaborating with icons like Valerie Simpson and Chaka Khan, Sammulous continues to leave his mark on the industry. His triumphs at The Apollo, praise from judges on ‘America’s Got Talent,’ including Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum, and appearances as a guest entertainer on leading cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, MSC, and Princess Cruise Lines, and break out performance at the Martha’s Vineyard Jazz and Blues Summerfest attest to his undeniable excellence.

UPTOWN ROYALTY NYC (URNYC)

Uptown Royalty NYC (URNYC) is truly a new musical phenomenon created by sensational seasoned stage veterans, the husband/wife duo, Jodi Music & Ron Renaissance.

Graduates of LaGuardia School of Music and SUNY Purchase, URNYC features an array of originals and classic cover songs spanning a wide variety of genres to create their unique sound called Latin Jazz and Soul. This fresh, new exhilarating sound fusion combines the best attributes of each genre creating a sonic landscape that’ll keep you dancing all night long! Uptown Royalty has two bands, an English band that covers all genres and a salsa band.

LULADA CLUB

Lulada Club is an electrifying all-women salsa band setting the New York City music scene ablaze. Through meticulous curation, vocalist and director Andrea Chavarro has assembled a cohort of accomplished and brilliant New York-based musicians, each with unique merits. Infused with an irresistible blend of vibrancy and skill, these remarkable women command the stage, welcoming salseros of all levels and ages.

Drawing inspiration from her Cali, Colombia heritage—the global epicenter of salsa—Andrea embarked on a mission to address the void of female ensembles within the live music scene in New York City. This ambition led to the creation of Lulada Club in 2022. Renowned for their masterful interpretations of vintage tropical rhythms encompassing salsa, bolero, and cha-cha-cha, the powerhouse band pays homage to the icons while offering a fresh perspective through their original tunes.

WINARD HARPER & JELI POSSE

Inspired by the musicianship of greats such as Clifford Brown, Max Roach, Jackie McLean, Cannonball Adderley, Dr. Billy Taylor, Art Blakey and Billy Higgins, Winard Harper has been the leader and musical inspiration for a vibrant nonet for more than a decade. Through that ensemble, he develops and mentors many young jazz musicians who have gone on to successful careers including Jazzmeia Horn, Josh Evans and Bruce Williams. The group, Jeli Posse, appears regularly all over the United States from the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. to Yoshi’s, the legendary West Coast jazz club and their most recent CD hit number one on the JazzWeek charts within weeks of its release.
